Decisions

I guess I write about decisions an awful lot on this blog. Though I guess it scarcely matters, to my count there are less than 6 people that know this address so hopefully they don't get too bored. But, decisions I guess are what defines us, what leads us down whichever path we are going to take.

To a degree, we have to live with our decisions, follow that path for a while to see what happens. I don't know if I believe in God, karma or some form of divine intervention but to some extent I believe that whatever path we go down we were meant to go down...So we will see what happens next. It's just like a story, except you can't skip to the ending and see what happens to the tragic hero (I always thought doing that was stupid anyway).

Finally saw a production by Cirque Du Soleil after hearing for years how awesome they were. I can now honestly answer the question, "Are they as good as everyone says they are??"

The answer is a very definitive YES!!!!!!

It was so spectacular, the perfect blend of theatre, comedy, music and circus. I could not believe it, some of the stunts they were performing were mind-boggling and there was always so much going on at once.

So, to try and rein back my uncharacteristic enthusiasm, good points were:
- Death-defying tricks
- Perfectly choreographed acts
- Fantastic comedic routines
- The costumes and facial expressions.
- Awesome music, it always created beautiful moods, as well as this a live band is cool.
- Good use of props.

So basically I am just saying if you ever get a chance to see a performance, take it. It's so good because it all fits together so well, mmm, listening to soundtrack and imagining I'm watching it again.

Decisions again.

Second-guessing yourself is a terrible thing. We should be happy with the decisions we make and not beat ourselves up about them too much. There is always another chance, another minute, another year.

Cycling and Photography

Something I love about Melbourne is how even after a short ride you can end up in all sorts of native parks. Just take a couple of turns here and there and enjoy the journey (just remember how you got there). Following are a couple of pics...

There would be a photo here right now...except the problem with having a spare set of rechargables for your camera is that they actually need to be charged. Oops.

Its been more than a week and it still feels kind of weird no longer being a student. I guess people get used to it eventually, yet I still seem to find ways to waste large parts of days even without study. Guess I should try and find a job...

Decisions

I guess the most important decisions in our life are also the hardest, turning aside from any path is difficult. But, I guess that we really have to be happy about the decisions that we make and stop trying to second-guess ourselves.
