Acceptance

If we grow fed up with the world and accept it as it is does it mean that we are opting out? That we accept the world with all of its problems and issues. That we accept that we as individuals are powerless, that we have no influence?

If everyone does this how do we progress as a society, who does anything?

Personally I think when we accept we are voiceless we sell ourselves far to short and devalue ourselves. Obviously we can't be involved or passionate about everything, but just as self-evidently we can choose not to accept something...and realise that we as individuals always have choice and may make a difference. We can challenge.

Just idle ramblings as usual, must be the effects of returning to uni...and realising that there is so much of everything.
